Applications are invited for a temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/Research Associate (RA) in a CSIR sponsored research project entitled, “Asymmetric Total Synthesis of Marine Natural Products Ammonificins A-D and Their Analogs” under Dr. Sajal Kumar Das, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical Sciences, Tezpur University, Tezpur, Napaam - 784028, Assam.
Essential Qualification:
For JRF: Possessing M.Sc. degree in Chemistry (Specialization: Organic Chemistry) with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA and passing NET/GATE test.
For SRF:
Possessing M.Sc. degree in Chemistry with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA and at least 2 years of research experience in synthetic organic chemistry. For RA: Possessing Ph.D degree in Chemistry with research work in the area of synthetic organic chemistry.
Fellowship:
JRF: Rs. 12,000/- (Rupees twelve thousand) only per month / SRF: Rs. 14,000/- (Rupees fourteen thousand) only per month / RA: Rs. 36,000/- (Rupees thirty six thousand) only per month.
Duration: Till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.
Age Limit: Candidate shall not be more than - JRF: 28 years / SRF: 32 years / RA: preferably below 40 years as on the last date of receipt of application. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

Short listed candidates may appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate, certificates of NET/GATE or similar examination qualifications, any other testimonials and a copy of recent curriculum vitae (CV). The interview will be held in the first week of August, 2018.
N.B. :
(1) No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
2) Those in employment or doing Ph.D. must submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the concerned
employer / Ph.D. Supervisor.
