Dibrugarh University conducts Common Entrance Exam for admission in various undergraduate Engineering courses and medical programs. Before applying for the exam candidates are required to go through all the points required for them to give the exams. Only eligible candidates will be entertained.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Candidate must be Indian citizen as well as permanent residence of Assam.
- Candidate must have passed XII or qualifying examination with 50% aggregate for GE and OBC and 45% aggregate for SC, ST in combined English, Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
- General Candidate must be in between 17 to 21 yrs as on 01-08-2014.
- SC, ST candidates are relaxed in upper age limit by 3 years.
APPLICATION FEE
The fee for the entrance exam is:
- For MBBS/BDS – Rs. 1000
- For Engineering – Rs. 900
- For Both Medical and Engineering – Rs. 1100
IMPORTANT DATES
- Form Availability online – 1st or 2nd Week of April, 2014
- Last date of receiving forms – First Week Of May 2014
- Admit Card availability from university website – Second week of May 2014.
- Exam Date – Mid May 2014
- Result – Second Week of June 2014
