Staff Selection Commission will make recruitment to the posts of Constable (GD) in ITBPF, BSF,CISF,CRPF and SSB and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles.Female candidate will be considered for posts earmarked for them in different CAPFs. Matriculation or 10th class pass is the minimum educational qualification. The recruitment will comprise of Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination and Medical Examination. Constabulary forms the major component of the forces. The working mainly depends upon the effectiveness of the personnel at this level. Therefore, it is important that only the candidates having the right aptitude, capability and fitness in all respects apply for the posts.
A total of approximately 22000 vacancies will be open for all eligible candidates from all over the country.

How to apply
Application can be made both offline or online.
Offline –
Candidates can apply offline on plane paper in prescribed format after paying the fee of 50/-(s Fifty only) by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps(CRFS)”only. After pasting CRFs in application form, candidate must submit their application to the concerned Regional Office/Sub Regional Offices of the Commission in the usual manner after completing other formalities.
Online -
Eligible candidates can apply online on website http://ssconline.ssc.nic.in and http://ssconline2.gov.in. And they should pay the requisite fee only through State Bank of India either in the form of challan or net-banking.
Application fee
Rs50 by means of Challan or net-banking of SBI for online applicants or Rs50 payable through CRF Stamp for offline applicants. No fee for for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation.
