SSA Assam Resource Teacher & Resource Person Recruitment 2012 - 221 vacancies

Assam Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission has issued a notification No.SSA/ENG -IED-RT&Vol./463/2004/pt.-1/4363 dated 12th September 2012 with regards to the recruitment of 221 vacancies to the post of Resource Teacher and Resource Persons in the state. As per the latest advertisement of SSA Assam, candidates will be engaged on contractual basis at 26 districts as per the availability of posts thereon. The vacancy details including the consolidated salary offered and other allowances etc. can be seen from the table as given below. The fixed remuneration offered for the post of Resource Teacher (IE) is Rs.7,500/- whereas for the post of Resource Person is Rs.12750/- along with TA entitlement of Rs.500/- & Rs.1,000/- respectively as fixed admissible allowances.

Eligibility Criteria :

Resource Teacher : The criteria prescribed in terms of educational qualification includes Graduation degree from any recognized University. In addition, it is also necessary that the candidate holds either a 1 year diploma in Special Education in any of the category of disability or otherwise have completed a Foundation Course which is recognized by RCI including one year relevant working experience. 

Resource Person : This post also demands a Graduate candidate along with Special B.Ed or 1 year diploma in Special Education/OccupationalTherapist/Physio Therapist/Audiologist from recognized institutes affiliated to any medical college or GMCH.
