As a part of the implementation of the Right to Information Act 2009,the Govt of Assam,Education Department had conducted Teacher's Eligibility Test TET for the first time on 25.01.2012 and eligible candidates qualifying in TET have already been recruited as Assistant Teachers under SSA,Assam in Lower Primary and Upper Primary Schools in two phases.It is for general information that considering the availability of category wise vacant posts of teachers in LP & UP schools in the 6th Schedule Districts,it is decided to hold TET for the schedule areas viz. Baksa,Chirang,Dima Hasao,Kokrajarh, Karbi Anglong and Udalguri and applications are for the same.
