TET: Final list after Rongali Bihu

The final list of successful candidates appearing in the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) and subsequent interviews will be released after Rongali Bihu. This was stated by Assam Education Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday and added that another two provisional lists of successful candidates would be uploaded at Sarva Siksha website on March 31 and April 10. Successful candidates can either apply online or send written applications to the Sarva Siksha office stating their location preference by April 10.
The Assam Education Minister further said that successful candidates would be absorbed as teachers in Government run schools by October this year.
The first provisional list of successful candidates was uploaded at the Sarva Siksha website on March 26. Although the final list was to have announced on March 31, it has been postponed by 10 more days keeping into account the interests of the candidates.
