Punjab Police is inviting applications for the recruitment of Male and Female Constables in District Cadre of the state police. In total there are 3726 vacancies for male and 2000 vacancies for female constables.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years on 1st January 2011.
Education: 10+2 in any discipline with Punjabi as compulsory/ optional subject in Matriculation.
Height Requirements:
Male: Five feet seven inches
Female: Five feet three inches
PET Events:
1600 meter race to be completed in 6 minutes 30 seconds.
Long Jump of 3.8 m in 3 chances
High Jump of 1.10 m in 3 chances
For Female Candidates:
800 m race in 4 minutes
Long Jump 3.25 M in 3 chances
High Jump 1.05 m in 3 chances
